Itinerary
At Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city. After getting refresh our guide or leader will brief you about the trip and all plan. In the evening, enjoy our welcome dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant with the cultural performance programs.
After breakfast, we drive to Pokhara which is 200 km from Kathmandu. We take our lunch in between this six hour bus ride. You can also opt for a flight which takes about 30 min, and then explore Pokhara, renowned for its scenic beauty and lakeside stays. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Pokhara.
We ascend for an hour to Ghadrukkot and then straightly descend to the Kimron river. After walking again for an hour, we will rise to Chhomrong enjoying the scene of the striking Mt. Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre. Today, we will be walking for about 5 hours in total to reach Chhomrong from Ghandruk. Overnight stay in Chhomrong at the tea house.
This day trekking trail follows Chhomrong River and ascends for some elevation. On the route, we cross through rhododendron forest and reach Dovan. The picturesque view of the natural beauty follows us while we trek. Remaining afternoon and the evening is to wander around Dovan. We spend a night in Himalaya Hotel. Overnight at Lodge.
We will walk for about 4 hours from Dovan to Deurali traversing the forests of bamboo, oak, rhododendron. On the way, we will come across the Himalaya hotel and two brooks over small bridges. We will have the chance to see a range of species of floras and faunas like snow leopard, deer, wild pig, etc. We then will hike up to the Hinko Cave, a hanging rock. As we continue our trail, we will reach Deurali and stay overnight at guesthouse.
From Deurali, the trail passes through a river bed, and after a tedious climb, we reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Himchuli et cetera are very rewarding. The way to ABC is wider with scanty vegetation. As the area is prone to avalanches, caution should be taken on possible dangers. Up from MBC, mountain views unveil to clarity. Annapurna Base Camp gives an awe-inspiring view of the snow covered mountains including the Annapurna range, Singuchuli, Macchhapuchhre, Tent Peak et cetera. Overnight stay at the base camp.
After viewing a spectacular sunrise from ABC, we head back following the same trail through MBC, Deurali, Himalaya and Bamboo all the way to Sinuwa. Mostly downhill, the trail is an easy walk. Overnight stay at Sinuwa.
We will move from Jhinu Danda and then walk to Kyumi village via New Bridge. A slow walk will lead to Syauli Bazaar and then hike up to Birethanti. After walking for about an hour from Birethanti, we will arrive at Naya Pool then an hour drive will lead to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara
Today as the itinerary of Annapurna Base Camp, we will either drive the same highway for 7 hours or fly back to Kathmandu for about 30 minutes. Then we will drop you to the hotel after arriving in Kathmandu. The rest of the day you can spend by resting or going around for shopping.
Our representative will transfer you to Kathmandu International Airport for your way back to your country.
