Itinerary

This 10 Days ABC Trekking drives to Pokhara by regular tourist but, it leaves at 7:00 Am in the morning and reach to Pokhara by 2-3 PM. While riding on the bus you can see the green hills, farming lands, and big trisuli river which is populated for River Rafting. The bus stops for breakfast and lunch on the way, there is possible to have Nepalies food with many verities, in Pokhara you will be staying at Lakeside which is touristic place and very close to the Lake. Possible to visit Fewa Lake and boating around the temple of Hindus it is in the middle of the Lake.

After the breakfast with your staffs drive to Nayapul by private vehicle 2 hrs then trek begins, it is 800m high altitude and most be warm around here. The staff will take trekking Permits for you in Birethati village then walking along the Modi Khola (River) via Sudame, Ramghai, Hile, Tikhedhunga with views of local villages, and lifestyle of the people and amazing forest, the last part of the trek climb up to Ulleri for overnight.

Easy trek for this day, walking into the forest of Rhododendron, Magnolia, Pines, oak with the view of a small waterfall to reach Banthati and Nanggethati village, from here also the same view and walking into the forest to reach Ghorepani. This is nice place for the sunset and views of Annapurna Himalayan range.

Early morning hike upto Poon Hill for the sunrise, the wonderful view gives from Poon Hill of Annapurna Himalayas. After taking a time for the view be back to the hotel then trek another way towards Annapurna Base Camp. Another hike uphill to deurali around 2 hrs then heading down through the beautiful forest, in this trail can see the monkeys, the trail continues to the river and climb up an hour to reach Tadapani for overnight.

Early morning enjoy the sunrise view of different mountains and low areas of the trekking. The trek starts with a downhill to the river then leads gradually way to Gurjung and Chhomrong village, it is a nice place for the mountain view and green hills where the local peoples can grow many kinds of foods and vegetables, from here you can see the Hot spring as well but you go on the way back through. Our walk continues down to the river again and short climb to Sinuwa for overnight.

This is going to be a long day but a nice walk into the forest all the way to Deurali. After breakfast an hour climb up to Upper Sinuwa then the trail goes through Bamboo, Rhododendron, Pine, forest, and views of Machhapuchare to reach Bamboo village. All the trail leads with the same view to Dovan, gradually trail ahead to Himalaya Hotel and again continues walking to Deurali for overnight.

This is 3,200m high altitude (Deurali) when you go higher than need to walk slowly as you can control your breath easily. The first hour is quite hard can't walk fast and here is not another path to cross it (sometimes rocks can fall down from the mountains just from the bottom you walking), after that easy path but takes a long time to reach MBC (Machhapuchare Base Camp), it is also the viewpoint of Himalayas but not that great view as from ABC. Two more hours to reach ABC which provide you the best view ever, around you the beautiful mountains and glacier only, visit around the base camp and enjoy the sunset then stay here for overnight.

Wake up early morning to see the sunrise, just go outside of the hotel for the view, enjoy the sun rising then trek back down towards low area of ABC via MBC, Deurali, Himalaya, Dovan, Bamboo, to Sinuwa stay overnight here.

This is an exciting and great day, going to Hot spring then heading to Pokhara. Until Chhomrong the trail is same climbing up and down again to Jhinu Dada, and then again down to hot spring, enjoy the natural hot spring for a while then back up to Jhinu. After lunch, a few more hour walks to complete your trek at Siwai, then 3 hours’ drive to Pokhara by private vehicle.

The tourist bus starts by 7:30AM from Pokhara. You should be at the bus station by 7:00AM. We can say you would arrive back to Kathmandu at 2:00Pm but it depends upon the traffic jaam. The seat is comfortable and stops for breakfast and lunch on the way.

Spring and autumn seasons are the best time to do the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The spring season starts from April to till at end of May when flowers are in bloom including rhododendron flowers. The autumn season starts from mid-September to till the end of November. During both seasons temperature is warmer and the weather is clear mostly. So we recommend you to do Annapurna Base Camp Trek during the spring and autumn seasons for the best views.

Annapurna Base Camp trek is not measured to be a difficult trek because most of the trekking days are spent below 3000m. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is considered being moderate trek in Nepal.
To do Annapurna Base Camp Trek you dont need special training. If you are physically fit mentally prepared you could do without any problems. Although we recommend you to do short hiking at least an hour a week or jogging an hour a day which will be really helpful to complete Annapurna Base Camp Trek pleasantly.
